Realizing the Potential of a Server 2008 R2 and
Windows 7 Infrastructure

SESSION 1: The New Efficiency: Windows 2008 R2
Server 2008 R2 has many new features and tools that have revolutionized the way Administrators can secure and develop their infrastructure. In this session we will go over some of the new features that make Server 2008 R2 the unique system it is and a whole lot easier to manage.

SESSION 2:  Building an ASP.net Server on Server Core R2 
Windows Server 2008 R2 introduces a new command-line utility, DISM, the Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool.    One of DISM’s many useful features is the ability to use its edition-servicing commands to upgrade an R2 installation without requiring install media. Using the DISM command a few batch scripts we will build a ASP.Net Application Server that can be placed in your perimeter zone for a little added more security.

SESSION 3: Concept Direct Access
Planning to deploy Direct Access to your infrastructure. Here we will guide you what steps that need to be taken as well as the hardware that will be needed to make launching your Direct Access Server
